Dr. Haji Muhammad Hadi holds PhD in History from University of Hull, United Kingdom in 2002. Presently, he is a Senior Special Duties Officer, Head of Secretariat of Malay Islamic Monarchy Supreme Council. In 2009, he was the Director of Information Department, Prime Minister’s Office until 2012. His research is mentioned, especially on the collection and study of historical materials on Brunei held in institutions of higher learning and archives in ASEAN member states, United Kingdom and the United States. Moreover, he has presented working papers in seminars and conferences local and overseas and attended workshops, dialogues and meetings at national and regional level, namely COCI, AMRI, SOMRI and others.

Ms. Kolap currently is the Library Director of Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia (PUC) and the Vice President of the Cambodian Librarians and Documentalists Association. She has been working in the library field since 2001. She graduated master’s degree in library and information studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, United States in 2010, and returned home to resume her position as the PUC library director. Besides working for the PUC Libraries, she has been actively involved in library development in Cambodia such as she founded an academic librarian club. Since 2012, she has been working with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, Room to Read, Sipar, and the Shanti Volunteer Association.

She graduated in Master of Arts (Library and Information Studies) from University of Yangon in 2001. On her research papers are various subjects such as Traditional Foods of Myanmar nationalities, ICT Development in Myanmar libraries, Future of Myanmar libraries, Towards the National Literary Heritage Centre, Reading promotion activities of National Library of Myanmar and more.

Mrs. Ngian is Consultant, National Library Board (NLB), Singapore and Chairman of Cybrarian Ventures Private Limited, a company of the NLB that markets and sells library consultancy and services. She is also a member of the IFLA Governing Board, 2013-2015. In her current portfolio, she oversees the development of innovative digital services for the National Archives of Singapore. She believes strongly that libraries and archives must innovate continually to remain relevant to its users. Over the past 8 years, she played a key role in transforming the National Library from a traditional library to one that is very much more accessible through the internet and mobile devices, by curating stories and digitising content such as newspapers and putting them on the web for easy search and find, 24 by 7.
